Searching among my family photos I found a very particular one. Apparently it is the secret history of my grandfather´s farm. My grandfather was a farmer on Juan Fernandez Island, he lived there his first 27 years. When I was a child he used to tell us his young hood histories about this mystery island. At this time I believe that the histories were true. But after I grew up I think that my grandfather told us all that fiction only for entertain us, or maybe it was an excuse for the problem of the lost cows.

This photograph really shook me, because nobody think that the explication about the mysterious disappearance of the cows was an abduction of the aliens. My grandmother mistrustful about the history that my grandfather tell to her, and she go away to Canada for never return.

All my family leaved my grandfather alone in the island, and he left Juan Fernandez one year after to live far away on Santiago. After a few years my mother contact him and I met him his house, I really believe in this stories at the time.

I haven´t ever been in Juan Fernandez, but I always think that it´s a normal kind of island. Now I’m decided about travel to Juan Fernandez next week to find other clues about this estranger case.
